Hiking with the Handiane special saddle for disabled children
The result of a wonderful collaboration with the Handiane association, Sherp’ânes aims to make the trails of the Causse region accessible so that all children can discover donkey trekking with their families. This year, a new saddle has been created, thanks to the contributions of many people, including saddler Bernard Lacuche, and the invaluable advice of Emile Braeger, a specialist in pack animal handling and long-distance horseback riding.
An adapted saddle that allows children with motor disabilities to insert their support seat corset and thus be able to hike on donkey back even on treacherous paths, discovery, adventure, contact and sharing for all!
